Unit 3: Processing Text and Graphics- Leaflet (DTP): Internet safety
Year 7a have just finished creating 2 leaflets on Internet safety. One for Year 6 pupils and one for parents and teachers.
The unit of work.
Internet Safety – Production of internet safety Leaflet using a DTP package, importing information from other sources such as the Internet and other leaflets. They are aiming to produce it for an audience of primary school pupils and be aware of the changes that would be needed if it were to be updated for an older audience. They also need to learn about presentation skills regarding size and type of fonts, use of appropriate graphics, difference between Bit Mapped and Vector graphics.
Well done to Nond and Simon who’s leaflets were chosen to be published and given to Year 6 pupils. Please feel free to download your leaflet from here too!
